I have had my share of problems:
UNDER WARRANTY, I purchased the 3rd year:
I blew a power head when the boat was 3 weeks old. Melted #5 piston, and ventilated the block with the rod.
had 2 props fail
developed cracks on the lower units, an have gone through 6 lowers, in the first 2 years
burned up 1 coil, which set fire to the ignition system harness, at 2 years 2 months
AFTER WARRANTY:
replaced 1 electrical plate solenoid, at 3 years 3 months
replaced 1 alternator that failed, at 3 years 4 months
tried about a dozen sets of props, before I found the best ones for my boat.
Throttle-Up, CNC 4 blade, over hub cleavers 14.75 x 31, they have never faile
