Both races are fun, Havasu is a lake race with a closed course surrounded by thousands of spectators. The Rum Run is a classic offshore race 26 miles across the Pacific to Catalina and back.

George, I called you a week ago with $$$ in my pocket to get the SVL class out here to Havasu in April, You never even called back? I have put the offer out to Stock outboard as well now.

Currently it looks like we have six P1, one P2, no P3, three P4, and two P5 boats. With another 3-5 boats that only run their local race sites.

We will be there, is the course similar to the OSS course run in the past? I am trying to figure out were to get our lodging.

If anyone brings a V-light to a POPRA Race I will run spec class with you, otherwise with no competition I will run with the P class with some competition. By the way thank you for posting the shot...
