So the boat is that video is 10-12 years old and somebody just purchased it? Why did Skater build the Fountains 10 or 12 years ago? Just curious is all?

Maybe a dumb question, but why have Skater build you a Fountain instead of Fountain building your a Fountain. Is Fountain sticking to strictly production boats or could they do something more custom...

Yeah I could see that being really ugly if you jumped into the third roller of the set or "case it" like a dirt bike. :smash:

I understand about triming the boat and adjusting the throttles in mid air, my question came down to jumping the wakes or slowing down and plowing through. If I jumped my 29 at 60mph off of a 5'...

I hate it when I come across the 4-6' cruiser wakes in the pacific in my 29' Fountain because I never really know what to do, so I always slow way down to like 20 or 30 and just plow over them. I...

IMO this could be great for offshore racing. Just think if some of the deadliest catch camera crew guys filmed 1 or 2 races, how much popularity and awarness it could bring to the sport.

Yeah it's always good to hear positive outlooks and experiences people have instead of the doom and gloom stories.

Yeah, it's a little bit of a pain in the ass to get on plane but it run's great. I would love to have the 600 in it or a blower added to mine but just too tight right now.

My 29 with a 500 EFI will hit 72 on a good day on GPS, so probably less then that (67 ish would be my guess).

I have a 29 with a re-built 500 Efi I would cosider letting go. I have a baby due in April so I don't think I'll be boating much nexy year.

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for but in the Powerboat magazine, there was a 42 PR with 710 Illmor's with ASD 8's.
