Ijust emailed Latham. Brand new a year ago, but it has been the same. It doesn't wiggle at the drive. I can turn it with the motor off easily. (@ the wheel)

What plugs go in a 502/500hp? I have used the Delco MR 43 T and the marina recommended an NGK. It has longer threads than the Delco. Will the longer threads work and maybe this is why I have been...

It is still backfiring:sifone:It seems to happen now after 30 minutes running time and after 3000 rpm plus. the backfire is every 3-7 minutes running over 3000rpm. Now, seems to be worse at high end...

If you have a thermostat with a crossover pipe, make sure you have 3 5/32 holes drilled on the sides of the thermostat.
