As for the 30' rule, all of the SVL owners at the beginning of the year when they were working on the rules for their 2010 campaign agreed to it. It was just one of those things that did not get put...

Aluminum flywheels are not legal in SVL in any of the orgs. I don't know about SV in OPA though. I don't think they are there either.

By the way, I do believe the length should be changed to a maximum of 30 feet before someone builds a 32 special for this class. If anything would change the playing field, this would be it......

Put your comments in. The only thing requested, and I hope we can do it, is be positive. Constructive criticism can also be positive.

I think you could run a twin step boat in the same class, but their drive should have to be 1/2" deeper, or they should be limited to 100 less RPM, and the parity would still stay in play.
