thing that worked nice here is no jack involved. Outdrives do all the work. Of course, every boat/trailer are at different heights so would not be easily interchangable.

Simple drive stand. I've seen lots of great metal drive stands, but I have'nt welded since high school.

I built this last spring out of wood scraps. The height was designed specific for my boat....
