I think it hurts the most when you get smacked with the hammer.
If it sells, I sure hope it is to somebody who will take care of it so all of Jim's care doesn't go to waste.

What's next?
He can come and bring his favorite percussionist. No soft spots will be found.
Believe it or not. Every morning when I walk into my shop I turn her props 3 times and let her know I love her.
Ran her a record 11 times this past year. Ran her Tuesday then changed oil and lubes. Spent Wednesday cleaning her up nice. Next step get her off trailer and replace my original axles.
I had planned on purchasing everything from MYCO. They failed to follow thru and left me hanging. Now I'm going to have to measure, identify and order everything myself.
I purchased a new Crossmember out of Miami, $95 +$60 Shipping:huh: Still cheaper than taking a Day off and driving up.
Delivery to your door is nice. Real nice.
I ran the 27"s a couple times last summer. My original 26 Hydromotive QUAD IV set worked better. They carried boat better needing less trim to run. The 27's ended up being 26 worked to 27. I thought I'd keep them as nice spares and continue to use the 26's.
Go figure I throw a blade off my right hand 26. I am looking for a new or like new old style QUAD IV 26x15.5 right hand to match the left I just purchased.
I bought a new left only to find out a factory new right is different.
You might want to give Bblades a call.

He received my old left original never touched 26 and my worked 26 to 27 right for evaluation earlier this past week. Hoping to create a matched pair. The left 27 as been damaged and repaired at least 3 times I can tell from stamps on it. It has been surrendered to yard art. Looks great but, does not work. The 27's are both 1/4 smaller in diameter too.
I have tried many props, I have found my boat likes the as produced Hydromotive 26's best.
My new left old style 26 sits here in a box. I spoke with Hydromotive directly; I'm told new ones are different. I am hopeful I can find a like new match. Time will tell.
Pictures of what I am looking for.

Please contact me if you have a matching Right hand you would like to sell. Thank you.
Dexter will not sell direct but, I found when you ask the right questions satisfaction is possible. I learned there is no such thing as custom dimensions on axles. It's just different places stock different sizes. Custom is I learned what they don't have. I asked Dexter rep , "Who is your best stocking dealer near me? "I called and found the place she mentioned had everything I needed. Drove 2 hours to San Antonio Wednesday before storm. I got hung up relying on others to help me for months. 3rd time , attempt, is the charm.

It's now official. Once my trailer work as mentioned above is complete I will be advertising for sale. Shooting for January 2022.
A pair of low hour 509's, with new worked GM heads. Its a great 70 -75 mph boat capable of running 80 on a GPS.
I'm second owner with boat and trailer titles on hand. I also have original invoice from 1985. Spare drives and many other parts and props will be available as well.
