Hey Guys I just got my new 99 28 Powerplay with twin small blocks delivered. It looks like it will handle the rough water pretty well. I can't wait to get it in the water after some major detailing.

Sweet!!
Oughta be a tough package!
Looks a little tight in the bilge though, gonna have to practice your acrobatic skills to do any wrenching.
Great looking boat.
Congrats!!:sifone:
Nice Ride!!
Cool ride. That has to be pretty rare. I don't think I have seen a 28 PP before.
Sweet boat. you will love it!
FYi...the boat likes a lot of bow lift. i have a 28 with 300 promax's and we are spinning lab finished 28" bravo i's.
Thanks I can't wait to find out how it runs. How fast shoud it run with the small blocks. It woun't be in the water until next week & the props are spinning out now
I'm not that familiar with PP, but to take a stab at your speed question, I'm gonna guess low 70's. 72-3 would probably be good depending on the shape of the motors and drives. If everything is fresh, and with some prop tweaking, I'm guessing maybe pick-up 2-3 mph.
Again, this is just my guess - I have NO experience with this hull, or power package.
I'm just playing the lottery on a guess.
But, I do look forward to seeing what you get.
Nice boat!
Thanks Guys! Its a beautiful weekend & the boat won't be reistered until next week. Kinda sucks
Nice choice, great boat!:sifone:
I don't have mine dialed in yet, but it definitely seems to like the rough.:driving:
Billy,
Once we test the boat and determine how it feels we can change rotation of the props. Turning in gives more bow lift if that's what it needs.
Let's see how she feels before making changes.
