Sweet thanks for the brochure picks
It's a 502. I Had Tyler Crockett do some work to it. Brodix heads, CMI exhaust, Holley Fuel Injection intake, different cam, and reprogram the ECU. Dyno'd at 569 HP, so it's problably pretty close to a Merc. 525 .( They usually dyno at 540-565hp)
I've run it for 2 years now with no problems. I have run it hard, many times, in some pretty rough water and feel pretty comfortable with the set up. Figure I'll run it for another year and then maybe have him bump it up a bit more. I can't wait! :biggrinjester:
Thanks, it's a 2005 260 (24ft) It usually runs between 82.5 to 84.3 depending on conditions in fresh water. Probably a little faster in salt water.
Here's a couple of Velocity's I saw at the Chicago Poker Run 07
Here's the cuddy.
Here is my 22' with a 496 HO.
Nice lookin boat Hessdk!!
Thanks DKerns, she is a blast to drive.
With a labbed 30" Bravo she runs about 82-83 MPH. BBlades is tweaking a 28" Maximus for me. I am looking for a much better hole shot and a higher cruise speed. I may lose a little on top, but Brett is going to aim for the same top speed.
I'm with "Revd Up."I used to own a 1988 23' Velocity(Regal) w/ 454-Alpha.
Was a fast boat. Then I added a 200HP NOX "Pro-Shot. It was my first "chine-walk" experience. I learned alot in that boat, (and lived to tell about it). Years later I started racing APBA and was hired to drive the 41' Velocity, "CGS Ferocious". Fast boat, but what a handfull. I believe my Velocity made me a better driver, but the rough ride probably caused spinal damage.
