To start How it looked as the cover was removed. Next to Black Betty former 6 year project.
Good Luck w/your Velocity. I love mine.
I've not seen an outboard version up close. Looks like a huge cockpit w/out the motor area.
Now that looks like fun Mark. Should be in the water next weekend?????

Since it is already rigged for twins the cost effective thing to do would be to find a couple 250's or better.
Cool brochure. I really like the race deck. I am having a hard time dealing with the tall windshield I have.
For power it is going to be twin 2.5 200 efi for a while.
I think it will spank Black Betty. It might like jack plate with a 10 or 12 inch set back. I never tried it but, I bet it will like it. Get the engines tight together [ like 18 inches ]with side mount steering. The front mount set ups won't let you get them very tight[ like 26 inches].
Attachment 74474 '88 with black Plexi
Attachment 74475 '85 had a short smoked Plexi like in the brochure
Attachment 74476 19 inch centers on a 22
The motors now are on like 28 centers. It is rigged for OMC power now. I have new front mount cylinders so will probable stay with them. I can get to 23" centers
Here is project number 1 Jenni's Mini broke a valve.
You actually put Jenni's project as number 1? I'm impressed......
Something about 30 mpg vs 15
Weighed the hull 2660lbs with no rigging.
If you're talking about the Cooper vs the boat, it's more like 30 vs 1.5:reddevil:
Mini Cooper is a finished up, with Jenni terrorizing the streets. Now time for more important things, Boats.
Nice new trailer with detachable hitch.

Attachment 75084Had to re drill the motor mounts that were a 28" on center. I played with the Sea star rams and offset them somewhat. I got the centers down to 20". I did lose some steering range, but should look and performer better.
Being a construction guy, I totally missed the hitch being gone on the first set of pics.....I was too busy thinking about drywall and marking the studs on the floor.:willy_nilly:
