Biloxi, The Introduction
Well, we made it. Nice to be here, love the Gulf Coast....
The first of the racer events was cool to attend. Many of the teams have arrived, some have had problems and won't be making it.
One of the teams which stuck out, Peppers. It sure is nice to see them back on the water after a major gap in participation. I think the last time I saw them on the water, and had the oportunity to chat with them, was 3 years ago? Mike thinks possibly a little more.
The turnout looks to more than double, maybe even come close to tripling, last years attendance, I'm surprised it's not even more. With a purse unprecedented in at least the last decade, a tow money package just for showing up and starting a race, and a venue as good as anywhere on the planet, it makes you wonder why they don't have to turn boats away....
The get together at the Beau had a very good turnout. I spent time chatting with the teams, the organizer, and the organization. I'll fill everyone in more tomorrow, but my wife more than doubled her money at the tables on top of the great company...

Glad you made the trip safely. Welcome to our little bit of paradise. Looking forward to the races and hopefully Al, Jr. reaches the goal his father wanted so badly. Hoping EVERYONE has a very safe and enjoyable weekend.
