We used to have to "special order" a lot of longer ss allen bolts.
Tried Fastenal? I only saw 4" on their site, but maybe a call???

How about chrome for $22 each?????
7/16-14X6 Socket Head Cap Screw-Chrome/Smooth: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific
Jason, as redneck as it is, we just use galvanized threaded rod from the hardware store and cut a groove in the top of the rod to screw it in with a flat head screwdriver.
I will say, that is pretty back yardish bro!!! Does threaded rod come in stainless? lol!!! I think I will stick with my hex head bolts for now.
Ratickle, I think chrome bolts would work great. Put them on your credit card and ship'em over. I will need 16 of them. Thats only $352.00 for bolts and we're going to need washers. I wonder what the washer cost probably something like 6 bucks a piece?
So you went with MOACs right? Lol
I cannot believe, as much as I've looked, that 6" allen is not available in stainless. But so far, I cannot find it......:banghead:
Those fuel injection plates look SO good they might make those saxcoolers look bad!
Glad to see the build coming along! Cant wait to run next to ya this summer
So Coolerman will have to step up his game?????
Thanks, I am very pleased how the plates came out. I got the 96lbs fuel injectors Friday and foound that they are completely different than what we used for mock up while building the plates. So we have to make some alterations to the plates and rails. Like coolerman says there's always a snag somewhere along the line.
I am very pleased with the saxcoolers as well. Couldn't ask for better ones for the money. Hoping to make about a million horsepower on pump gas! lol!
Ha, we just made 2200hp on pond water.
The boat was floating on pond water? Or the engine was running on pond water????
And you are aware of that because???????:sifone:
Nice!
Frog ponds?
High Octane Frogs...
what will they think of next??
:)
Are you registered for Boyne this year?
