Craigslist,,,,ebay,,,, they are fairly common used,,,,, should be able to get one in the $300 neighborhood give or take 50 bucks.

I had one in a cruiser...then later another one in a 31 Formula. PITA on the Formula. Ended up buying a $100 window unit and a piece of 5in thick foam. Put the window unit on the cockpit floor in the cabin door and use the foam to fill the void above it....worked great.

On a performacne boat you've got to handle that thing over the dash...PITA!!! We would leave the AC in the cockpit floor, put the cockpit cover on 1/2 way, and my wife and I could slip into the cabin through a hatch or step over the AC unit in the doorway.Quote:
