Jim, that boat is a true piece of history. I always loved the 10 mtr boats.
I remember having to do a project in art class at 10 yrs old, and I based mine on drawing a 10 mtr from the ad.
I noticed in that 3rd pic the open "handlebar" on the top of the windshield...
I was cleaning the garage today, and pulled out the windshield frame for my boat that will be going to powdercoat next week, and it has that same layout.
Guess I didn't realize that was a common detail for the boats of the early 80's.
That windshield frame and wrap around hand rail is all hand made square tubing and in near perfect condition. The following year they were all stainless tube.
I am trying to keep it true to its time with no updates were possible. Next project is to fix the stern light and then a leaking transmission.
