We were going to try to hook up with the run, but when we started the Scarab, no water through the engines. Ended up putting two new impellor kits in the boat and heading south at around 4:30. The lake had kicked up a bit by then.

As I said, the lake had kicked up a bit. Some of the guys were saying they stayed in Grand Haven instead of going all the way back to Muskegon it was so rough. At least we were running with the waves, not into them.
not the best pics from my phone but i thought i would share them with paul. in that first pic there are 4 sabers. 2-28's,34 & 41. i didn't see jason in loose cannon in the morning. good to see he got out. that 63' sea ray has some big power in it, it runs pretty darn good. the owner is just down the road from us and a friend of mine captain's it.
