Behind the scantily cald legs of the two women is the name on my boat....:sifone:
I have an idea.
A coffee table book from the perspective of the Apache owner with a page for each boat (some owners may pass of course.) Ask Bobby's permission to use his quote thanking owners for all they do to keep the heritage alive.
I would love to sit and read and see a nice pic, learn what has been done... history of boat... hailing port. Perhaps hailing port history (Miami, Grand Haven, Cleveland...) and then when we sell... the book goes with and enhances the value. Small Apache history up front. Great fireplace conversation with non-boating friends who just don't quite get it when you say Apache. :)
We could probably find and include anybody who wants to be included and fit the page count for a nice book. If we have too many... we do half pages for the Scouts. :D
We'd only sell 3,000, but you know you want one. :)
That's pretty funny!!
When I was searching for 36's Bobby would send me pictures and contact information for each owner along with the history. He'd also tell me a bit about the personalities of all the owners, it was really cool!:sifone:
The boat I own now he told me who it was built for, the power and the previous owners names along with some additional history. And if you notice below, it's straight up honest info, no BS!! :driving:

Hi Frank
I believe the boat you are looking at belongs to Joe from Boston, Nice Guy.
Joe bought the boat about three – four years ago. As far as I know he kept the boat in nice shape. As you know the engines have too much horsepower for the Bravos. But if you are getting the boat at the right $$ and detuning the engines, it should be a nice boat for you.. Good Luck and let me know if I can be of any help,
Bob Saccenti"
That 3 man is a cool boat
That is a cool idea fund (I'll take 2 ). I would like to get some more history on mine. I am the second owner and purchased it from the dealer that sold it originally so I got a lot of info from him about when they took it to Lake X and that sort of thing. It would also be cool to have an Apache Regatta at some point for everyone to decend on one body of water for a fun weekend together.
Ours doesn't have the ponies under the hatch like Franks or those staggered 36's but we love her just the same and hope to some day give her a full restoration.
Believe Shaka is now in N.America, has had bow cut out.
These 47s were all in France at one point, not sure where they are now:
Octavian (Original Name)
Running Brave (Original Name)
For Your Eyes Only (Original Name?)
Patriot (Original Name)
Fighter One
First 3 out of the molds.
