Hume Boat Club to host high-speed racing with Horsepower on the Hume

Hume Boat Club will host its annual Horsepower on the Hume powerboat circuit racing event at Bellbridge this weekend.

Boats have registered from right across NSW and Victoria to compete in Saturday and Sunday’s racing, many of which will reach speeds in excess of 180km/h on Lake Hume.

The Border club has a number of members competing for the Engine Master Australia Hume Boat Club Cup, with all entrants given the opportunity to qualify for the marquee race on Sunday afternoon.

The circuit is run in the main lake area in front of Scotchman's Point and the Hume Boat Club in Bellbridge.

Entries is free for spectators right across the weekend of action.

The club will also be live streaming racing on both Saturday and Sunday.
