yeah, Dave Stecz mentioned that he tried some on his Vespa; came out great.
It sounds a lot like poly glow, it does work

MY problem with what I think this is, is what happens when it starts to peal or dis-color, or whatever, and then its a pain to remove. If all it needs is a re-application once a year, I'd give it a try. 88 red gelcoat is tough to keep up and painting isnt is the cards right now.
