Oh chit and I have been waiting for the its mine thread:(
We will have to see how the deal comes out, the money is there, the contract is done, and all I am waiting on is the broker to release the boat. He has been following these threads on here and OSO and thinks his boat is worth 90K:rolleyes: There is plenty of time and alot more Cigarette's if this deal falls thru:sifone:
That sucks, sell the dam thing for the price in the add or hit the road. WTF
Not for nothin' but a friend that knows Cigarettes extremely well looked at this boat and said it needs a lot of lovin' I think "beat" was the word he used to describe it. Might of been a blessing you didn't get it WMF
I got an email the other day saying somthing like 82800 and its sold! Sounds like BS
Almost sent the email back saying dont get greedy

A friend gave it the once over for me and said it will need some TLC.
As far as the salesman -- he needs a knuckle sandwich -- talk about a úsed boat salesman'---he has worked everyone that was interested in the boat against each other.
Personnaly with the power and needed TLC the right price on this boat is 75K.
my 2 cents

Maryland mark -- which boat do you want to see pics of the 35?
Sorry, thought you said you looked at it but you said a friend looked at it.
A few have said the boat is beat up- since the seller thinks it is a gold mine, maybe posting pics of the damage would get the Bill a better deal, then he can take me out and spend the savings on bars tabs.... :bump:
+1 When I purchased my last boat I kept my mouth shut until one day someone on the old site asked what happened to the boat (wasn't listed anymore) and I replied that it was sitting in my driveway.
By the sounds of this one it might have been a blessing afterall. There's a chance that once all the talk falls through the broker will come back begging for a sale. Lots of mouths are bigger than their check book.
I agree, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and when it is all said and done this broker might very well have sent our boy a walkin (with money in his hand) while those talking up the price don't have it. Certainely can't finance things like a few years ago and the broker might be learning a lesson the hard way.
I bought some stuff from a guy today and showed up and said I will write you a check for the agreed on price or I happen to have a little less in cash but it is cash after all. He went for the cash option.
