Sometimes sportsmansguide has deccent deals. Ive all but given up on ammoman.com.
Unless its for high volume spray lead and dont give a chit ammo like for an AK load up on bullets and brass, reloading is a very relaxing hobby, it keeps the evil voices at bay.:D

A lot of people feeling the same way. A friend of mine was in a gun store yesterday and a guy walked in and bought all the .223 ammo in the store.

We went to the gun show this weekend and I bought 500--9mm FMJ shells for $85 for target shooting. It was a pretty good deal.

This is a good site also. Not many deals on 7.62 though.
SportsmansGuide usually has about the best deal going on 7.62x39.
If you guys are buying bulk blasting ammo for cheap assault rifles I strongly reccomend staying away from any of the laquer coated stuff usually greenish colored cases, it will heat up and ruin a bore. Stick with Wolf Polymer.

This 9mm ammo I bought is Wolf and is laquer coated. It seemed to shoot OK and cleaned up with no problems. Only shot about 50 so far.

Wolf is no longer lacquer coated. It's polymer. Looks the same, but it melts at a much higher temp. Still, I'd never shoot it in an HK- especially an MP5 or a P7. Wolf polymer will still melt in those chambers, especially if you leave one in a hot chamber. Melted polymer is a nightmare to get out of a fluted chamber.
Thats why I said "cheap" assault rifles :D
There is still, or was as of a few months ago a lot of Wolf millitary classic line still floating around gun shows that is laquer coated, along with Silver Bear, Golden Tiger and a few others. The new polymer coated cases have a dark grey color to them.

Sorry, didn't look at the box. It is Brown Bear Ammo from Russia and it is lacquer coated. I am not shooting it in an assault rifle. Shooting it in a Ruger P89 semi auto handgun.
