My plan is to stay at Marina Shores Friday and Saturday night...take the truck to MC for the parties each night, and take the boat out for the race Sunday.

Forecast as of now is for waves less than a foot all week and 2-4s for the weekend. That should make for some fun racing, not so fun spectating :(.

Is that the near shore forecast? I just looked last night and it was south to southeast winds from 7-14 mph all weekend long. That normally means really good boating conditions in MC.

Temps are supposed to be in the 90 this weekend which means south winds, the lake will be calm. I would tend to worry more about pop up T storms!

Weather looks crappy for Friday...60% chance of storms. I might head up to Coloma and South Haven for Friday/Saturday, then swing back thru for the party in MC Saturday night and just drop the boat in at East Chicago for Sunday...

Gotcha Mike. Don't know if we'll be over by boat or car on Saturday...either way I'll give you a call. Most likely we'll be on the boat during the day and come back by truck at night.
