My mother-in law just got a call about a car accident and was told to dial*72 then the number.

What this does is forward your number to someone Else's house so they can accept thousands of dollars in collect calls.(only works if you have call forwarding on you home phone,but most all cell phones have it)

This has been happening all over Houston and Dallas usually from a prison.

all you have to do is dial *73 and it will unforward the calls.
