First sea trial on Friday 7/3. The boat has a temporary console and seat installed while we are tooling the real parts. Loaded 500 lbs of sand bags to simulate the running weight.

C'mon Terry give them more teasing than that.

The boat really is HUGE, and very impressive on the water, the bow is enormous, but you can see over it.

We ran the boat on Tuesday in the river and it was amazing, 3 seconds to plane (but with almost no bowrise it is hard to really tell) Actually I planed it at about 2100, about 15 seconds 0-60 and it topped out north of 73 mph but that is classified on stock props and a realistic motor height.

It handles like a sports car as far as reaction when you move the wheel and backed up beautiful. We did some pretty hard turns and the boat carved hard and the motors stayed hooked up with good pressure. I have not run it in the rough yet but I was able to bury the bow into a decent size cruiser wake and the water stayed out.

Fit and finish is nuts for a prototype, but I guess it just talks about workmanship. We ran about 1.3 to 1.4 MPG at cruise but we really didn't spend a lot of time finessing it for maximum MPG.

Thanks Terry and Trond, now hurry!
