Not sure this belongs here, it's a McMannus.

Thanks to marylandmarks link http://apachepowerboats.com I was reminiscing.
I saw this boat on Lake Erie a couple years ago and I was wondering whose it is and where it's at now. (not my pic) Also thinking I NEED a ride on that bad boy:26:

Looks like Cochise boat. Same deck?

I, personally, do not particularly like the deck or lines of this boat. I'm sure it is bad a$$ just not my style.

It was for sale about 6 months ago. Ask MrHorsepower. He listed it for sale for the owner. He also rebuilt the engines in it........

I don't know much about McManus Superboats but they were always listed as 42's so I don't know if they were lengthened 41's or what. They look nice in person but I prefer the original Apache design.

They're all Apaches now, Mark owns the rights...so I wonder if all the McManus owners have been rebadging them....

Actually, built from a mold made from my first (1985) 41 after it broke.

McManus' layup schedule on the Comanche is somewhat heavier than the original Apache. If you think the Apache is a resin bucket... Amazing ride quality though.

Ed, have you heard from Frank down at Fiberglass Plus? I haven't spoken to him in a really long time.

If it makes you feel any better it looks like I'm taking off next season as well....

Hi Andy
I bought the Comanche a few years ago with the thought in mind to convert it to 6's and new power. So far, with my workload I haven't accomplished that. I've only had that Comanche out once in 3' to 4' seas and ran it to about 70 with plenty of throttle left. I need to retire and get some important things done!
The drives and power are for sale, if anyone is interested.
Ed

Ed, Nice  ... think those are first pics I've ever seen you post :) Maybe I missed any others that you had posted.

What are the drives #3s/3As??? Gimbals for sale as well? Price? If you prefer PM me.

Thx,
Chris
