I'll be keeping an eye on that one. That would actually be a project worth the time. Unlike the one I am currently working on.

Just came across this boat on Ebay. I was going to post it, guess not now. Looks interesting. Anyone know the history??

I think Raylar might buy this boat and rig it with two of our LSM550's and keep it for our factory boat. would be a great California Costal Cruiser and Catalina boat!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

It's great I have ran them a few times out there when I was working at DSM when Dick Simon still owned and operated it!!!!

Everything seems to be gone. Engine/rear hatch, rear seat, bolsters and every freeking piece of functional equipment.
So what is a hull with electical plumbing and some cushions worth ?

Just remember it is not a topgun. It will never be worth a heck of a lot. I cant see anyone ending up anywhere but upside down on it. :ack2:

Looks like its back on Ebay. I swear I checked the add earlier today and it stated that the original parts are available and they have the contact #. Looks like the add was changed or I'm dreaming

I would like to have it but the price would have to be really right to make it worthwhile. It got a little to high last time imho.

Just wondering how much damage was done before they pulled the engines

I cannot believe the bid is almost 30k
Someone please convince me its not a scam by the orig owner to get it back and put the parts back in it.
This boat is in my neck of the woods and I will be watching for it to show back up and togeather just like new.

When you talk to the contact number, he says all of the seats, interior, engines, drives etc. is also available. So, the owner stripped it, the bank repos' it, and the original owner makes money by selling the original parts ?
Either it's my abby-normal brain holding me back, or there's more to this escapade...

I am sure that there is,who would pay 30300.00 for a bare hull?
Maybe someone who has the parts?

The things that make you go hmm..
As the saying goes, "if it looks like chit, and smells like chit

don't bother tasting it.

It's listed again somewhat re-rigged. It says in the ad he's located the parts......hmmmm

I talked to the seller when it was still up for auction. He knew where- all the parts to re-rig it- were at. He didn't say whether or not they were the original engines/drives/interior/ etc, but I found it interesting that all the parts of a stripped boat just happen to be available in one spot.
Regardless, congrats to the new owner!!!
How much are they asking now?
