Ok My interior is done but it ended up being more expensive than planned.

What would you guys say an estimate would be to recover a 2 man bolster, repair a bit of the wood inside, add some foam in the worn out places and do new embroidery.

Just ballpark me so I can figure it out.

I was originally quoted 500 bucks just to recover. No stitching, foam, wood, etc.

$500 seems reasonable to me, but tI'm guessing it ended up being 2x that?

I've never had any recover work done so no clue. Good luck man!

he said he had to repair alot of rotten wood inside, which seems reasonable because the wood didnt look that good in certain places. Also embroidery isnt that cheap, foam who knows what that **** costs, labour

then you have to factor in Canadian dollars and the fancy carbon fiber vinyl in 2 colours.

Maybe 2k is reasonable?

phuck I have no idea.

My uncle's girlfriend has her own upholstery shop. She guestimated $500 to recover the seats in my cruiser. That was for one flip-flop seat, one fairly flat lounge looking seat and another bench seat. She was giving me cost on all the materials and only charging me what she pays her employee hourly to do it.

I think I saw on the other site that PPI gets about $1500/seat for new ones...

Yah, foam's supposed to be suprisingly expensive. I thought Wallin said he paid $4k a seat or something like that for complete seats. F' it. It's only money... :D

Oh yah, and lets see what that maw-fugger looks like!

Nah, not really :P

I payed about 1400 per seat and a bit more than twice that for the back seat.

Repair work most often cost more than you would think since it's always much more work than you would think that you discover during the repair...
