What is the story behind the name Alez Vite? What does it mean?

You don't even have a boat.....and stop trolling around the Apache section cause you'll never own one or even begin to understand what it's like to own one!

Stop dreaming about Fat B!tch...... sh!t or get off the pot! :03: Action speaks louder than words my friend... ;)

Some great footage of Alez Vite in the Apache Battle of the Seas video!!

My computer crashed and I lost alot of my favorite pictures of my 41. She is sleeping in her heated shop for the winter. I'll be putting her back together this spring, and it will be staying for sale, but not must sell. It's an amazing boat, center steering race boats are very fun to run in big water.

Sure! :)

Especially after the memories of our accident faded a bit. :(

Nykamp gave me a ride a couple of summers ago, and it was just like I remembered, with one major exception: if something broke, I wasn't going to have to pay for it!

Oh. And it was the first and only time I didn't throttle. That part, I din't care for! :leaving:

We started a couple of minutes behind the fleet, because of mechanical problems, but got to the first mark in the lead. Never looked back, led all 155 miles in the Saturday Key West Worlds in 1990.

After the race, Chairman of the Board (Cougar cat with Lambos) tried to get us disqualified, because when the race started, we had to go the wrong way (against traffic) to get from the pits to the starting line. It was a bull-$hit protest (we hugged the sea wall, and were never close to the other boats), and it got tossed.

The engine hatch was flying around because we didn't have time to re-attach the ram after Bob Laytham solved our steering problem.

All 3 of us have pins and plates, and are mostly doing OK.

Are all starting to experience the arthritis that comes with damaged foot and ankle joints, but we can still get around.

Good luck Bobby! Hip surgery than ACL?????? Ouch.....makes sense to have the hip fixed first. Recovery from ACL will be good, just keep up the physical therapy!! That's a must.

Hope all goes well. Sorry for the thread drift DUDE!
