I was cleaning out my parents basement today and came across these shirts.

My father was the gm at Johns Acura store and JD was like a big brother to me. These shirts were brand new and never worn, my mother was saving them. Seems like yesterday.

I just ran into John not that long ago at Sierra Grill in Norwalk, CT of all places. I remember watching him run as a kid back in the day. Great guy!

This Shadow was a much better boat than the Redline cat Mike had.

Mike DID NOT own the Redline...he only throttled it for a while. John Peterson owned it. "Change Order" was the first race boat graphics that I ever designed while I was in High School. Our schools auto body class painted it.

That was one of only three Shadows we built with destroked big blocks originally. I never liked the balance in those hulls. My suggestion would be to re-power with either small blocks or Ilmors.... and be prepared to use extended drive shafts for engine positioning.

You could also put brackets on it and run with OB's........

If it has been outdoors for 4 years bring a water gauge to test the hull.
