Last year I watched my first poker run which started fro the CT River and headed right past orient point and was blown away watching all that power go by, well this year we planned on watching it again and I cant find any info?
Is this event all done?
Anybody have any info?
Thanks

This tells the whole story!
Not able to run a poker run when people just come "to watch"

I think it was $800 bucks to run in.....that's quite a big nut for most of us. IMO.

FPC has done tri-state runs. They are a lot of work. Ours was FL, GA, SC - back in 2001. Now we do multiple-stop events to the Bahamas - 4 hotels in 6 nights 7 days. Between gas, hotel rooms, & food/bev the $695 event fee is not the expensive part...!

This is a little different. The "Tri-state" is CT, RI and NY(Long Island). You can hit all 3 states and only run the boat about 30 miles(maybe less). People finish the run in a few hours. The $795 entry fee was pretty crazy IMO.

I agree totally. I can understand $200....MAYBE $300, but $800 is a totally rip, and it shows with the lack of people entering. IMO.
