On a Fountain you cannot say for sure but your RPM may increase. What is key is that you run at WOT at the appropriate RPM. If your RPM increases then you will need to step up to taller pitch props to bring the RPM back down to the target.

If you raise your prop shaft 2" and your prop slip #'s go up will a taller pitch prop help control your slip or is the only way to correct it is by adding a blade (3 blade to a 4 blade or a 4 blade to a 5 blade)?

Adding blades and diameter are two distinct possibilities to controling the slip.
