So, just for fun... What do you guys think is the most well known Pantera race boat? What's your favorite?

Black Sunday

F1-71 (Adam's boat)

M-24 Miami NY record holder?

Discuss and post pics, por favor! :26:

thanks for including my boat with those others.

Thats a big reason why I bought it and why I decided to keep it a true race boat as opposed to adding more creature comforts.

few more...
I was in this boat at the plant in 2003-4 when it was for sale... like $55k asking.
The 3rear bolster could hold people 2 deep if needed.
Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda... :(

I think is has to be the M-24 boat. Can you imagine making that run? I want to say that Pepe said they did most of it at night.

Lets see what I got... I've seen the boat in person at the factory, but I'll admit, I was distracted away from it by the 35's graviational pull (or is that animal magnitism).

And then, lest we forget one of the hairiest (pun intended) Pantera brothers of them all... Scotty B layin' down the law in the Kean Univ. boat. Maybe a new Family motto, "Pantera 24, where big-time begins!" :D

When I was down there during the Miami Boat Show, there weren't any motors in it. Can't remember about the drives. Pepe said that some guy was wanting to build small blocks for it and have them race it in P class.

where is fair and white now? what yr is the hull?

Dude! Sweet!
05-14-2009, 01:17 PM
It's still in Europe I believe (I know, narrowing it down to a whole contient, I think maybe Switzerland?). It was the dark grey watch sponsored boat that ran P1 in 2008 (couple of races). I forget which country. But it's the same boat as the white boat. I'd guess it's a 2002? I think that's about the same year as the black cut down race boat.

Dude! Sweet!

Pantera's web site actually says 2004 on the fair and white boat. I couldn't find a picture of it in it's most recent livery though. Watch company starts with an "E" but I can't remember... I'll look some more in a bit.

Rob, that made me laugh really hard... you know I don't have tatoos because I don't want any identifying markings for the cops...

I saw the Army boat at the factory about 2 years ago. No clue who ended up with it, but it had it's Army marking off of it. I think the guy who brough on the Army stuff is running a formula now...

Radisson hotel in Memphis. John ran into some mechanicals with the trailer that put us a day behind, but we'll be rolling tomorrow. This wasn't the Green Beret mission that the Nebraska run was, but it'll all work out in the end... :D
