I know it's probably not Pepe running the boat (and I know Pepe generally drives), but tell me this video isn't identical to the famous Apache video...

Only in 1/2 scale and going the other direction. Awesome stuff!

Magic throttle arm of Scott Gary maybe?:sifone:

That boat sounds great! Defintiely not as rough as the Apache video though. I would have liked to see this Pantera getting more air!

That video was taken in 1992 at the Holiday Isle race in the Florida Keys. The Plum Loco 24' dominated in A-Class that day and in B-Class the Pantera 28' Tunnel Vision took 1st with another 28' twin taking 3rd in the same class.

It was a great day of racing for Pantera. It was 17 years ago but I still remember the day quite well.:)

I have Plum Loco 24' here at the factory now.Getting ready to race again in 2009.

Ratickle, My Father was driving in F1-71 and I was on throttles. That video was taken in Daytona 2001.It was the 1st time the boat had touched the water.

Andy, Plum Loco is still a 3 man bolster boat.Scott - owner placed some type of a back seat in it at one time.
