I saw that done before. Guy screwed into the floor, thru thr hull and into the trailer bunks. Guaranteed interior will not to come loose when wave jumping :)

I had a customer from the marina do that once but he was partially retarded. I mean he was literally menatally challenged...real nice guy though and loved his boat...:)

And if you're going cross-country use lag bolts instead of screws!!:26:
and once you get the boat into the water just pull the drain plug and keep the boat on plane so it doesn't sink! :)

Funny thing i have seen this more then once at different boat Companies in the past and most of the time it was a new employee .:)

I had a guy call on the phone at a Marina where I worked in a PANIC. "How big a boat will your forklift lift? "
A 30 foot I responded.
" Oh good my sailboat is only a 27"
A sailboat? That is different the weight center is further out. I won't be able to lift that.
"OH no what am I going to do?
Did you try Taylors they have a travel lift.
"Yes no answer they must be closed on Sunday. What am I going to do?"
What s the big deal?
"I drilled for my new transducer and it doesn't fit."
