Those Kinsler pieces ain't cheap. I keep pondering a set of Enderle bug catchers feeding an EFI system on top of 8-71's for the Cig. Basically I'm up for trying anything that will prevent me from ever finishing the SOB :)

What EFI system are you & Bob considering?

It is already decided, it is the Kinsler shown (with flame arrestors) Bob is grinding the roller cams now and recommending the valve train components.

I always loved that paint job. I did some work on it at Lilly's when Andy owned it. He had a 23 Eliminator so overpowered he couldn't run it wide open.
So he talked Lilly into running it in a shootout in Va. Maybe the Rudy run not sure, but anyway Art took a hot pass in the boat and it got going so fast it drew a life vest out from under the deck. It just so happened to get caught on the carb linkage and would not allow the throttle to close. Mean while Artie is rapping on it slapping the throttle around trying to get it to release. Finely it came off and he returned to the dock, Everyone was cheering and high 5 ing him. He shouts "That thing tried to kill me". He wasn't sure he wanted to get back in it, but he did and set the record at 123 or something. The picture of "Killer" hangs behind his office desk.

Fun thing is I remember that story every time I see your boat.

I have to give credit to the guys who built this forum !

What I just noticed is it does not blow it out to the right, but what it does is squeezes the extra space needed out of the left. It thins out my screen name area which I think is great !!!

I would rather see that than having people scroll to read text.

If anyone feels the 800 X 533 pixel pics are to overpowering, I will just use the next size down which is 580 X 386 pixels.

I like the attachment style too. You can preview it in the post, get a better look if you want, and blow it up to the largest and copy it in a new browser if you want.

I like how the site absorbs just a bit into the left before blowing out to the right.
I too hate when I have to scroll left to right to read as well so I am careful of it so that it does not happen.

Yes you can click to enlarge the view of the image to it full size no matter what that size may be. But as I said, I can read the numbers on the days of the calendar just fine in a the smaller size.... ;)
