My daughter Sarah. Perfect cross of my wife and I. She loves being a girlie girl and acting like one and she loves being a little motor head. She is infatuated with boats and sleds and just about anything that burns gas , makes noise and goes fast. :)

Not trying to bust anyones bubble here. It sure is great to see kids having fun, but is it a good idea to post your kids pictures on the internet? Just asking. Especially if they are a minor. I dont think I would want all the perv's and other freeks out there having a picture of my kids and maybe using it for the wrong things. Like abductions or such. Maybe its just me. Its really hard to trust anyone now a days with my kids!

Sorry,carry on.

Good to be concerned BUT, could a perv look up the address for Miss Airpacker jr. on google or the like. The only ones who know the kids real names are those of us that are friends anyways no?

After reading the concern voiced above I have given this some thought...

While there are always concerns regarding the safeguarding of our children, I really can't figure out how a picture and a first name can provide a predator enough information to come find my kid...maybe I am missing something here??? Anybody have solid reasons to be worried? Our founding member Sunkin and others acutally use their complete names and areas of residence...

Currently the site is by invite only, so I feel fine about sharing. When the site does go "public" there may be more reasons to be concerned...and if paranioa gets the best of me, I may delete some posts...

Honestly, I feel like a facebook account or similar site is much more alarming given the information available on some individuals, or friend's information that may be compromising (without the friend even knowing...).

I guess I am not really sure how to feel about all of it, but would rather share with this group than go through life filled with worry...like my mother still does...:ack2:

At the end of the day, my kids are well monitored, my dogs are scary, my camera and alarm system are state-of-art, and my guns shoot straight and I have plenty of ammo!:)

God bless America!
