Man I dig those 3 man tripple OB boats! I still wanna get my paws on Merola's old Boats Unlimited Special (a pile from what I hear, but my first Pantera experience). What can I say, I guess I've got Pepe envy!! :D

This is my old boat...It was originally LittleFish.....I bought it less powerheads...Went through a couple of stages of rehab with it....rigged it one time with a pair of ProMax300's....Ran ok...Originally had Trip 2.4"s.....I sold it mid project to a guy who resold it on Ebay to the current owner who did the current resto....Not sure of the quality of the work, but it looks nice in the pics...boat had a partial cabin done at the factory, and was only raced a few times if that by the original owner in Florida....Rumor has it the boat was a former HayHauler! Not sure though....Hull has very few hours....Spent most of its life on a trailer....I think it had a total of 5 owners.....

Jake, cool history on this boat! Welcome to SO and look forward to hearing more from you going forward. There's a bunch of boats out there for sale. Brian Stubbefield (B-Stubb on the other site) has a 1996 28 with a single big block that's supposed to run in the 90s. I know he's virtually giving that boat away.

Saw this boat 2 weekends ago in lauderdale sitting outside with a tarp over the top of it. Doesn't appear that she is being loved very well right now. :(

Really cool looking boat.:drool5:

Jeff, i'm pretty sure the boat in the ebay link is still in NY.
Can't imagine why'd they'd drag it down to FL now?

If i can escape to Freeport over the next week, i'll try to get some more updated pics.

I think there are a few 3man 3xOBs running around.
But not w/ these graphics.
Maybe i'll take that drive sooner than later, if the weather is good.
Any requests for better pics of this? if its still local?

Well Jeff, you're right.
A buyer from Ft Laud bought it from them during the last Ebay ad sight unseen.
Flew up 2 days later and trailer it home.
And this dealer had the boat since 2004.

I don't hear that I am right very often. I also heard that he spent a ton of money on it so far trying to get it to run.

It is a cool boat. Love to have it in my stable.

Does it still have the motors on it? For some reason I thought the motors got yanked.

This picture was taken back in January 1991 showing what the boat originally looked like. My Father and I went for a run in Little Fish. It was stored at Ft. Apache Marina at the time in 188 st. Thunder Boat Row. Boat was fast back then !
