Quit being so dam bashful and just accept the praise and accolades heaped upon you O master of the serious world. Accept your responsibility as our Grand Pooh Bah and allow the huddled masses at your feet worship you.

Come on Chris, you know fine well that it is YOU we all have to thank for the creation of SO.

Thanks again O'Creator and Lord of our internet realm :)

When OSO started to teeter, I heard from dozens of people saying the same thing- we need a new home. I resisted it for months- until it was clear they weren't going to do anything. All I did was get them all in a room and get them talking. One guy couldn't do this.

Just like in Business, Chris saw where there was a demand for something, and he decided to find a way to the fill the needs.
He then went and tapped some of the resources he had for suggestions of how to best fill the demands of the market, and how to provide the product.
Amazing that he stepped up to do this for all of our hobby.

If you all notice under Patrick's board name, it says "Benefactor". Patrick has been a catalyst in many ways and his contributions and efforts do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. While he prefers to keep a low profile, we wouldn't have gotten here with out his help.

Hope this embarrasses you, buddy.

Whoops -- it does!!!

Glad to do it and happy to see your vision come to life. Just my little "thank you" for all your help and guidance with my boat life.

Hell, I don't know if you remember but I went to NYC to sniff our INET at investors conference and was not impressed...then things slowed way down and concerns went unaddressed, and it simply sputtered out.

Happy to play a small part and thanks to the group for making the jump and making it their own...and Chris does have some very interesting things cooking in the near future!

Internet Brands now owns OSO.

The 39 TS/TG/700 Cig went back to Pier57 as it was a joint venture between Cigarette, Pier57, and Mercury Racing.

I just noticed the "Sunkin/Palin in 2012" post - now that's the ticket. This is as good a place as any to let the gang know how much I personally appreciate how much Chris puts into the offshore scene; I can't tell you how many times I had some piddling little engine or rigging issue that Chris took time to respond to over on the old site. When we look at what has been done here in goodwill and contrast it with the actions of that pinhead that Gino had a run in with(JC), well, I'm just grateful. -Jeff
