I had one go boom while on the Miami Boat Show run so I guess it's time to redo both and I guess If I'm going to be in there I might as well bump things up a tad.:) Andy you will have to take her for a spin this summer and tell me what ya think.

It's gonna take me a while longer to get to the pen from burnham runnin a 10hp evinrude but we'll get there. And we'll have whores. :D

That remains to be seen. When Dennis winterized the boat and changed the oil, the oil that came out looked like ****. Hopefully just "reversion from the cams" but who the hell knows.

So, when I pull it out of storage, it's going straight back to Dennis so we can figure out what's going on with this turd. :ack2:

Hey Chris, how was your oil pressure looking at idle after a hard run? Usually when you get water mixed with the oil, it can kill the main and rod bearings, usually resulting in low oil pressure, especially at idle.

I assumed that Chris's was a carb"d boat sorry . Nothing wrong with EFI , I just prefer that simplicity of Carbs and not having to Depend on someone else to program it everytime there is a change. You should see the Hilborn set up I was looking at for my set up we were planning. Looked totally old school with 8 seperate stacks but it was an EFI . But the way it looks It will be a while before I ever build my Fantasy motors at 50G a piece, 1000 hp NA would be so cool though.

My technical challenged buddy just bought a Grand National. It has a fully built motor, bigger injectors, alcohol injection, adjustable wastegate, and a six stage chip. He told me it dies out sometimes after a wot run. He asked if i can take a look and help dial it in. lol, where to start!

Got his dash all put back together after he decided to dismantle his full autometer dash to install a stock dash, which wouldnt work due to the custom harness, splicing, etc.

Car runs good, but I think it has alot more on the Table. I think we may put it on a chassis dyno, and set it up that way. He had a low mile stock GN when we were in high school, and he is learning fast this aint no stock GN. I have a feeling im gonna be buying it from him as soon as he gets frustrated with it and wants to off it. I always wanted one, but would prefer a stock one with T-Tops!!
