Here is the one I worked on.

(4) 2.9 ltr twin turbo flat 12 Motori Moderni 1250hp each engine. Carlo Chiti's last engine.

(4) 2spd fnr transmissions (Weismann). Later was reduced to (2) transmissions and then made into 3-speeds.

(2) Kiekaffer 6 drives. Later modified for Arneson drives.

Second picture in post 2 looks sort of familiar! Thanks for showing me around Pat. That was awesome. You guys have so much great history and there's so much cool stuff over at your place... I was completely blown away.

DS,

There were a couple of cousins to those boxes there. Remember to forget what you saw.:reddevil:

On the first test of SDA I was in the rear seat with all the gages. What an impossible job that was, temps, water, oil, pressure, boost ect.....I didn't remember a dam thing once we passed the 145 mark everything was a blurr of bouncing needles. Fun though.

If you look close at the pic of the cockpit you can see the 4 clutch pedals. The first time Lino tried to press them all, it pushed him out of the seat. He had to strap in to try the clutches. We used the clutches for the FNR part of the trans.
