On the OSO thread, some indicated it was a repaint of the first strength and Honor and one guy said the first S&H is up in Canada indicating this is a new boat.

The pics don't do it justice. The overall lines are hot. build is hot with the gladiator style blended in top and sides. Interior is beyond hot.

My complaint is the windshield. Fugly. It looks like Cig is going for an Italian style on some of their new stuff... I like Cig's because they are brutally American and that windshield screws the image up.

I like it, but.... I would not have moved the cockpit so far foward. I don't like the 35' Lightning cab forward look. I seem to recall added storage space between the cockpit and engine bay. That alone pushes the cab too far forward.

The original 38 flat deck and Gladiators have the correct cockpit location IMHO :blush5:

the blower belt is 4 inches from the back of the seat, I don't think you can move the cockpit much.

regardless of where the engines are there is something about it that looks unbalanced.

I'm convinced it is the windshield.

Compare this to a fountain 42 PR and the Fountain wins hands down. Total balanced look.

I think if Cig changes that shield it will be a total home run.

How does it handle Big water being it was the kilo Boat ?
Will it run like a 45 maximus or the 46 R/R in big water

Rick,
Your Maximus blows it away in the looks dept. This boat has awful lines and looks ridiculous. Between the ugly engine hatch and the windshield, there is no way it can look good. And , as cool as the cockpit is, there are way too many Cig logos, even for me! I'm gonna have to cancel my order.

I love it. Right down to the windshield. It's a very modern look.

Maybe I am confused, I thought I saw a picture of a trio of hatches behind the back seat.

I still think the cockpit is a bit too forward. It it for performance? Dont they usually move the windshield forward to hide the stand up head in the space right behind it?

The kilo boat set up was way at the back. Probably too far back.

Compare to the Gladiators proportions (another sit down boat)

And let Randy at Stellings do the exhaust. :sifone:

I love that f*ckin boats! However, I think it looked 10X's better as the Strength & Honor boat! Too bland now for me.

Hey Rick, I know the water wasn't rough but you looked like you were enjoying the ride from the passenger seat!!:sifone:
