My 260 Scorp was one of the funnest boats i ever had. I always thought the 312 would be a great step up from that boat. Great cockpit and cabin layout. Great lookin boat man!

Looks NICE!!!!!
I take it that you're not stepping up to the yellow Rinker Captiva ahead of it in your storage pic....?That does have the thru hull though:)
I had a red206 with 350 mag. JUNK boat but it got over 60 due to being so light (flimsy)
I also had a 169 Scorpion Chris Craft before that. That was a really solid FUN little boat. 185 hp V-6 pushed a 21" prop on that thing and got real close to 60. A little scary in such a small boat. Only thing I have owned that actually chine walked.
No step up on the Rinker! lol
I am looking at a Gulf Stream 256 Calypso
Not sure where I am going to go with it
I would also like a Hydrostrem but I have a Switzer that I love
Such decisions! lol

How did you get that hot rod over 60?
I know the guy that owns it and if he can tounch 56 with one of my BBlades props, he would be happy to get more.
Let me know

I ran a 23" LaserII prop that was ventilated, and had some work done. It needed the "caps" out in order to get going. It was really way too much prop for the boat/motor. 3 or 4 people on board wouldn't even let it get on plane. Most of the time I ran aroun with a 21. That boat was really cheap. It flexed like crazy and was scary. While INSIDE the cuddy you could see shadows on the OUTSIDE of the boat if the sun was shining on it. I had gotten for a really good price. Used it for a few seasons cleaned it up, added stereo and some gadgets then sold with a lil' profit. What I really hated was the seating. It had the back to back layout-ables and movable "jump" seats next to the doghouse angine cover. No "sport" layout...
Anyone out there want a CC
One of the last nice trips out on the Hot Rod
