Towing 47 ft fountain sport cruiser

Hey all you guys I got a 84 s-10 short box w/2.5 motor,do you think it would be O/K to tow my dads sport cruiser to the harbor then launch it?It weighs 12 tons and is 47 ft long but it would only be for 10 or 15 miles a few times a year so that should be O/K then right? I was planning on staying off the expressway:p. As long as I don't get in a accident I think I'll be fine,yours truly,A typical Idiot

I don't see why not I towed my jet-ski with a 93 gmc S-15 I did have the 2.8 engine though:D

I don't plan on driving over 80 mph while towing this big boat,the brakes are kinda weak on my s-10,it barely stops on its own but the trailer brakes should be able to stop the truck too (I hope),A typical Idiot

if you hook a leaf blower to the trucks intake, it will be like a supercharger and give you the extra power to get up the hills..., my cousin's-friend's-dad's-nephew's-sister's-uncle's-exwife's-new husband's-step brother's-aunt's- boyfriend's-hooker's-pimp's-parole officer's-second cousin's-neighbor did it and it worked great!! thats how he towed his moms mobile home cross country on 3 flat tires, using, get this.. a 73 ford pinto!!!!

Towing for a short distance is not the problem. A lawn more can "tow". Getting it out at the ramp may be an imposibility. Good luck, tho, and becareful.

Double check your bumper hitch to make sure the ball is on tight and the bumper is secure, although it shouldn't be much of a problem once your wheelie bars are set properly. Also leave the wheel down on the front of the trailer as this can help equalize some of the tongue weight and will help the trailer roll better.

Also leave the wheel down on the front of the trailer as this can help equalize some of the tongue weight and will help the trailer roll better.

Thanks for your advice,my trailer wheel is kinda wore down from LAST TIME but do you think If I duct taped a skate board to the trailer wheel it would be ok? I promise not to go over 43 mph plus its only bout 5 miles to the launch,signed,A TYPICAL IDIOT
