Does anyone know if you can buy a straight hose barb fitting for a Bravo transom assembly. The standard fitting comes off the drive at an angle to clear the back of the motor but with my extension box it is not ideal.

Try IMCO - They have the extension boxes on the Hemi boat a friend has and his are straight.......

I assume you're talking about the barb on the inside thats bolted to the transom assembly?

If you're worried about the hose kinking I'd run a wirebound hose instead of regular walled hose.

I just finnished making a new billet one for my boat. Bought a piece of aluminum flat bar stock. Cut it to the approximate shape of the mounting flange, drilled the mount holes and then drilled and tapped for 1/2 NPT thread and used a screw in fitting. Total cost was about 10 bucks and an hours time.
