Built by Kurts Competition center with build/dyno sheets available. Pictures are soon to come, make offers....

Engines are currently in a 38 flat deck top gun and will be taken out upon request. Owner is parting the boat out and taking a few years off.

Also have #3 drives available, make offer...

Drives were rebuilt by Speedmasters Inc. with 5 hours on them...... Make offers folks...you may be surprised..

You don't know the owners.....they've been friends and boating buddies of mine for a long time.... Back in the day I used to work on the boat..

He's working on pictures and the boat is here in central NJ if someone wants to see it in person.

sorry Chief but they're 3's, I believe 1.58 ratio. They are hard to find when you need one....

Really??? Did you own it when it had the stock motors??? The past owners before these guys bought the boat from somewhere in Florida back in the mid 90's if I remember correctly....the owner was my boss for a number of years when I worked at the marina.. :)

To make a long story short, I had the opportunity to work on it for a few years before it was sold to the current owners. When it was first bought they put a set of 650 hp 540's in it with CMI's, a few years later the 598's.

As of right now I think he's looking to hold onto the boat for a while but if the right offer was made who knows....

No leak-down done, there's about 20 hrs on them, maybe less.. The boat was barely used since the engines were freshened.

Apologies for not having any pictures, I know that doesn't help anyone..... :(

I've got the camera unfortunately he doesn't and I've been up to my ears in baby crap and trying to earn some dinero at my day job. lol :dupe:

But....:seeya: I'm taking my camera with me to work tomorrow and I'm supposed to meet up with him in the afternoon to take some pictures. FINALLY...:)

The 20K is'nt the prob , seems all the motors and drives out there lately have 0 or dyno time only , no dyno sheets or reciept/build sheets ..U know that BIG Daddy

Give me a call, I can give you more information on these engines and an honest opinion since I don't own them. :) It all depends what you're looking for and what you want to do with them so once I know that I'll just give it to you straight, I don't BS.....

I'm heading over to the boat at 12pm today to take pictures for ya'll.

He's not looking to sell the hull at the moment, only the power/drives.

I guess there's no buyers out there? Economy that bad? I don't think you could build a set of engines this big, NEW, for anywhere near this cheap!!
