LCM has a staggered 38 priced to move. Make your own "Fatboy". Nice boat- rigged for 6-man sitdown (catalina ski race boat) and it's cut for 6's. Fugly paint.

I remeber that day in the first pic, Eastside Poker run. There where only 7 captains with balls big enough to run in that water for the entire run, the rest pussed out trailerd to LYC and bragged about how fast they went inside a breakwall down to shooters. I dislocated 3 ribs that day and dayum was it fun.:drool5:

36 Apache
Fatboy
35 Cafe
32 Baja Caliber
28 Baja Outlaw
28 Cig
and a bunch of crazy mother fukers in a 23 Baja Force.

Not sure on the year, I "think" its of the original 90mph paint jobs. Doug Sullivan has a T-totally bad ass other one....btw, did anyone invite him here?

Anyone know exactly how many came from the factory with that paint? That is by far my favorite paint job on any boat period.

Saw that thing run in 02 at the SCOPE poker run in Long Beach Ca.

It got a lot of attention at the docks. Staggard big motors (at the time) #6's, 6 pack. Its set up with a foot throttle and supposidly the cockpit area was cut a little near the dash to make more room.

Tank you are being kind when you refer to how Cecil maintained the boat. I can't find the real picture when I gave Philly the deposit and bought it for $85,000. Then to top it all off I told her "honey don't worry I know boats and for 55 tops I have it all back together and beautiful" Only missed by about double!!!!

The first Key West run outside Bahia Honda she understood though and I was right next to Tanner in Tonto and Tatonka in the bumpy. Way different that the old 38 Fountain she loved. She even likes the security of her new mini sunpad when I don't have the full one snapped on.

My wife is a boater too! I just can't give her more than 2 1/2 bushwackers (she is part Cherokee indian and that stuff about the indians selling Manhattan for beads and liquor is too true) Shiny stuff gets her too.

Well, I was trying to be polite:biggrinjester: Cecil did not take good care of the boat and it was a wreck when I saw it. Think it had only been back a week or so from BVI. Matter of fact, it was right around the time I bought our boat from Phil.

You did an amazing job on that thing! I'm sure it's nice to own something that's even more rare than a standard top gun!

I was actually thinking that...Don't know...But lets see. "locked and loaded" was neglected and teh 42 was burned. I'm thinking "Fat Boy" will need some TLC. Especially since now it's sitting unattended and uncared for. The sooner you get your hands on that thing the better!

paul, i will let you live.. i will pardon you....

ever rebuild an old muscle car, same thing... im not saying its a jem, far from it, but its definitly something different... when i buy big ticket items, i buy them more for my pleasure, im not so caught up in how much money will i lose or what will it be worth when i sell it... im more interested in the project and the final result....

the 38 staggered rigs are not for most, but i can tell you that they are for me.. i like them....

ive talked to everybody about fatboy, and about pure preasure and so on... i know when fat boy comes back she will be rough, its ok i will still love her...:03::03:

If you start to add up the cost to rigg it again, you'll soon loose interest. Unless you have most of the stuff laying around.

Motors, drives, props, transome plates, rigging, you easily are at $100K maybe closer to $150.

Why do you suppose the scavanged all the parts off it and superman?

I talked to them a little while ago about it and they said most of the rigging was still there. They also quoted me $35K, not the $25K Chris mentioned, of course that was just kickin the tires, not getting down to brass tacks. But just the same, you would be way over $100K after power/drives/trailer/paint.
