Recently purchased a boat that came with LH & RH 24P Bravo 1 props. Both props have the same hand stamped numbers, B98876, near the part numbers. Just wondering what the stampings mean. Repaired, reworked, labbed, storage identification? Any thoughts?

I think you should send the pics on an email to Brett at BBlades

Good idea. Brett will probably know. This is his busy season, so he is slow in responding to emails right now.

Btw... I had Brett tune up an identical set of props to those (minus second number) and even though they looked "ok" when I sent them, I got them back and picked up 5mph at 4000rpm and better control at the dock. (Was ok before, but got even better.) Also got on plane with less rpms. The guy is a miracle worker with a set of Bravo Ones.

He didn't add any markings indicating he had worked the props, btw.

Brett says they are not BBlades markings.

Did he think it was possibly someone else's?

From the other site...

Not BBLADES or Mercury.

Check Local Prop Shops from the Area You purchased the Boat from.

Peoria Illinois used to have a Local Guy who was very good SS Custom Props.

Well, at least Brett did not disappoint, he answered.
