The lake level is hold steady at 657.

LCRA Website (http://www.lcra.org/)

If you know the lake, it's deep enough for safe boating. :seeya:

That is about like saying "I know the roads so I don't drive with headlights on"

Jason, the water around the dock is always deep enough for you---although I have to admit you've done better this year :biggrinjester:

I've been called to visit family near Dallas this weekend.

Cold? I'm beginning to think it never gets cold here. Feels like year-round boatability to me.

As far as lake depth -- heck, I'll just keep her at my current top-end max of 64.8 MPH, trimmed out, and sail (err...fly) over anything deeper than 2 feet. Dock-to-dock round trip WOT. Fun, but not exactly fuel efficient. The sandbar down from The Pier keeps getting wider. Soon there will be dunes.

I know, I know. But didn't you say this cold weather was just like being home and a sweat shirt was all you needed? I know one thing........this warm-blooded human being won't be anywhere near the water this weekend! :sifone:

I saw two or three perf boats blow by going toward Spicewood this afternoon. A bit cool -- but sure looked fun.

They run good in this colder weather. I plan on taking advantage of the gas prices this winter and play as much as possible.

Today? Supposed to be 70* at 3pm. There might be a 2-3hr window this afternoon.

I'm ready to fill up with some $1.98 gas. If gas prices stay in this range into next summer I'm going to have a wore out motor by the end of the year.

Nice run Jim, even as short as it was. After we peeled off, we ran to the cove and then around to Lakeway and back before heading in. Had 2hrs 32min ramp to ramp.

Kate says she's sorry she missed you.

How did those pitcures turn out?
