I have a 1988 (ancient, I know) t/454's Fever 27/29. I was wondering how -2" shorties may benefit/hurt me. Basically it comes down to shorties or bigger power. At neutral trim, my bravo bullets are approx 90% below the hull

Prostock,
What props? Hydromotives spinning out will give you the most stern lift you can get; which is what I assume you need w/a shorter twin engine boat....
But shorties will probably not be helpful; of course the only way to know is try.
By 90% below the hull, what does that mean? Best way to get a baseline is trim neutral, srtaight edge from hull to centerline of propshaft. Some others with similar fountains can tell what is best; but I'm at 5-1/2" below and have 1-1/2" spacers....my AT 28 has a notched transom. Hope this helps.
