ST. JOHN — Two teams from Port Angeles-based Wicked Racing earned second-place finishes at the American Sprint Boat races at Webb's Slough in Eastern Washington over the weekend.

The Wicked No. 01 team of driver Doug Hendrickson and navigator Nichole Heaton-Muller finished second in the 400 class. The duo's fastest time was 51.40 seconds.

Wicket No. 10, driven by Dan Morrison and navigated by Cara McGuire, took second in the Unlimited class.

Sequim-based TNT Racing's Livewire, No. 2, lost in the semifinals, while TNT's Jeeper Creepers, No. 99, fell in the quarterfinals.

Livewire is driven by Paul Gahr and navigated by Josh Gahr.

Jeepers Creepers' driver is Dillon Cummings and its navigator is Teri Cummings.

American Sprint Boat racing will again make two appearances in Port Angeles this summer: Saturday, July 25, and Saturday, August 22. The latter will serve as the first round of the first-ever ASB World Championships. The second round will be the following weekend at Webb's Slough.
