Hey Paul,
I've been meaning to ask for awhile, but is there a way for me to get a full view of pictures. Almost all posted pix are cut off maybe 30-40%? Thanks.Jeff

That's weird. What browser do you use? If it's one of Microsoft's IE's, try clicking on the Compatibility View at the top of the page. Looks like a torn piece of paper.

Thanks Paul. for instance trying to look at the Miami Boat Show pix and I get maybe 70% of the width. It seemed to happen around the time when the ad strips starting appearing. Let me know.

Is it only on the last post in the thread page where there is an ad present on the side with a large photo?????

Dang, I can't duplicate that. Anyone else having the same issue? We need to figure out if there is anything in common.....

A little more info - when I click on someone's attachment there is no problem. But for instance all the stuff that Pete and Jeff post with the big format, I can only see about 70% of the shot. Everyone's commenting about the engine compartment or whatever and I can't see it.

Completely removed the ads in the posts. What do you have now????

I've had the same problem for a long time. I just figured it was my old computer or IE browser. I don't have a wide screen monitor and figured that may have something to do w/it too.
I do however see the whole pics when posted on another site. Like some of the great boat racing shots Pete and others post on multable sites, I loose about a third of it here.

For example Petes Miami boat show pics in the first post, last pic of the drive shows no prop. Should it?

I also just went to FFrame's pics and tried the compat view and it turns the pics into thumbs. For what it's worth. I hope this helps.

Also, for what it's worth... I just opened the site in Firefox and had the same view.
Windows XP and IE8

So no difference for either of you?

Thanks Paul. It seems about the same. Maybe the pix are just all partials - not the end of the world.

Still the same for me too. But, no big deal.

They're not partials. I have three computers I look at them on and cannot recreate the issue, but I'm working on it to see what it may be. There has to be a root cause in the computer setting, or the link somehow..........

Allright;

Open a thread with a large picture you cannot see all of.
Minimize that picture so your background is up on your screen.
Right click anywhere on that background.
A box will come up with options.
Click on properties
Click on Settings
On the screen resolution, try increasing it to something along the lines of 1289 x 960 pixels if that is an option.
Click okay

Your screen will go black for a second or two, then reappear with smaller icons etc.
Maximize the Serious link with the open picture that you minimized.
Let me know what you see.....

Tried it.
1024x768 is where I'm at and max setting for this and my laptop. Maybe that's it. Figured it was my old outdated stuff. They do show the entire, same full size pics posted else where tho which seems odd.
No worrys Paul:)

A thought may be to add left/right scroll bar at bottom of frame to allow wider pics to show?
